Bucky Covington where are you?

Seems Bucky has a little time off from the road and concerts until the next show on November 6th. Hope he enjoys his time off and who knows he just might be vacationing in Florida. He enjoyed the beaches last year, maybe again this year.



It has been a very busy week. I have not had much time on the computer to update anything.

First let me say Thank you! To update you all on the total amount donated to our team "Judge's Jigglers" during the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.


Our goal was $250.00 and 30 days, you see I procrasinated and waited to sign up. But that is "how I roll" always.
Our final total as of yesterday was 639.00!! I can not say thank you enough. All the Buckaneers and others who donated to help me achieve my goal! I recieved some very generous donations!! PLARS if you read this "I want my two dollars plus 18" you know who you are! We completed our walk Saturday morning in a downpour. The day started off great. As I was pulling into the town of Traditions a rainbow formed over the area. If you click on the picture you can see it full size.






It was the perfect start for my day. At the end of the rainbow the pot of goal contained 41,269.00 which was collected for our area, St Lucie Florida.

Thank you all for your contibution! Just as the walk started, the rain came! We were drenched but it did not damped the spirits of those walking for this wonderful cause. Because of the rain I did not get to get a picture with my other team members. Which I truly hate !!! The rain caused a little havic on the event because as the rain started everyones plans got sidetracked. I have to Thank my husband for always being there for me, and taking care of the littlest of details, like the pink ponchos and my umbrella! Love you Tom!


Some of you know that my team, The Florida Shine team for Bucky Covington won a contest to have a conference call with Bucky.


We won the contest during the time "It's good to be us" was released.

From Janurary 2008 through May 2008, we promoted hard. You name it we did it. We stopped at nothing to get Bucky Covington and his single "It's good to be us" noticed, played and loved!

I am sure you have seen the video for "It's Good To Be Us" but have you viewed the making of the video? The high energy of the video may have helped to take the single to the top ten along with all the teams that participated in the contest.



We finally received our prize and boy was the wait worth it! The call took place on Oct 21, 2008. Each and every team member were able to partake in the call which made me very happy. We cover from coast to coast in Florida.
Bucky was so kind, funny and sincere. I want to tell everyone about it, but that will be later. FlCathy is a proud member of the Florida Shine team was lucky enough to have back to back Bucky days just prior to the conference call and she captured some of the greatest videos to date!

She has been working feverishly to get all of them uploaded for our viewing pleasure. Well talk about a double shot, enjoy this video. Bucky and Rocky take the stage and the introduction of the band members.
