If you have been to a Bucky Covington concert you've heard the beating of the drums. Well how much do you know about the "shy" drummer, Tom Hurst? It seems the "drummer" doesn't get the recognition that maybe others who take front and center may get. Well I stumbled across a very interesting video tonight from Road Dawg online featuring Part 1 of Tom Hurst the infamous drummer with Bucky Covington's band. This is a must see, and once again I encourage everyone to leave a comment and rate it!
If that video left you wanting more of a pretty face, here ya go

Thanks so much for the kind words. Your waaaaayyyy too kind on the "pretty face" part... more like "scary spice"! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, I'm always so appreciative of how nice Bucky's supporters are and hope you know that while I'm kinda' in the background, I sure do luv playing for you all.
Ultimately, my goal is to support Bucky, and work well with Rocky, as I know how much you all love them both, as I've to as well. Wonderful, "REAL" guys: What you see is exactly who they are and more in terms of being sweet, caring dudes, who also happen to be funny as all get out!
Scary Spice, never, but it was funny!
ReplyDeleteWe loved the interview! We crave information and when it comes straight from the "pretty" it seems more endearing. The more we can "collect" on Bucky and the "Cobblestone" boys, more we connect and feel the need to promote and protect all of you. It's a strange thing that can not be explained. Many of us have asked ourselves why the obsession? Fans who cares so deeply for strangers. Wonderful, "REAL" guys as you put it. That was what attracted us originally to Bucky during the AI show. Bucky was real, and he connected with us. We rooted for him because he was like a long lost family member (OK we wished) and we wanted him to achieve his dream! Over the last 3 years the family continues to grow with "real" people. We love (that's crazy) you all and are proud to say "your in the family" and think that the collection of "souls" is the perfect mix and sound for our favorite idol, Bucky Covington!
PS Cobblestone boys...each time I mention the band, I give you a new name until an offical name is announced. UMMMM seems we are always waiting on something offical for one thing or another. How about an offical release date on that new single.
Tom does seem like the shy one of the group. I would have to say tho that he is very funny. I loved the interview because his personality shines so much in it. He is a very intelligent and awesomely talented drummer. Tom really does make the band complete! I feel very fortunate as a fan to see so many talented people working so hard for us.
ReplyDeleteTom you positively rock!! I hope I get a chance to chat with you at a show. :-)

Hi Tom! I also saw all of your video's and commented on one of them. You and I are part of the "Gator Nation" ~ Go Gator's! That's why I wore my Gator sweatshirt to the Palmetto, Fl concert and even during the M & G, Bucky said "Is that for Tom?" Take care!
