Flashback 80's big hair and Rumble Circus

I love the internet because there are so many interesting items out there if you just search. As we wait for the new Bucky Covington single to be released I thought I would spotlight members of Bucky's band over the next few days. Today's name for the band will be "Cultural Gems" which I think suits them!

A few days ago a very informative online interview was posted by Road Dawgs online with Tom Hurst, Bucky's drummer. Tom, you are so much more than just a pretty face! We would have loved to see more of your face and not just the profile. I am sure Bucky can give great tips on the camera angles. Nose up or nose down still makes me laugh. One day I will blog about my experience with Bucky and Rocky Covington and Nose down.

Today I stumbled upon a really old video of Rumble Circus. Who you ask, Rumble Circus with none other than Jeff Cease lead guitarist. I am a child of the 80's so the big hair and spandex pants seems naturual. It is just strange to see Jeff with all that hair, and gotta say love the sunglasses! The poster of the video stated that this video is pre Black Crowes for Jeff Cease. I was also a big Black Crowes fan pre wacko days for the lead singer, Robinson. But ya gotta give props to great music from pre-Bucky days for all the fine (pretty) talented musicians that now make Bucky's live shows something to write home about. The collabration of the "Cultural Gems" make sweet music for our ears and can we say eye candy for the shows!

Please do not send hate mail, I am just the messenger! Jeff you ROCK!

  1. Lisa, this is just too darn funny! I am a fan of the 80's hair bands and I was a huge Black Crowe's fan. I've never heard of this band though. This is fun. Thanks for digging it up. Still waiting to hear your stories about the Nose up, nose down.
