As you all know October is National Breast Cancer Month. I am so happy to announce this event. First let me say Thank you to DancersMom for the bringing this to my attention. Bucky Covington will be taking part in the 8th Annual Bosom Buddies Benefit sponsored by WQMX in Akron, OH.The event will be on October 22, 2008 to raise money for Akron General Muffins for Mammograms on at the Tangier Restaurant in Akron.
Sure sounds like something I would love to be a part of, however it is 1100 miles away from me! But for all those Bucky Covington fans in the area, go and support Bucky and his Bosom Buddies!
Also performing with Bucky Covington will be Lonestar and Kristy Lee Cook.
The evening includes dinner, live & silent auctions and a special concert with performances by
Akron Generals Muffins for Mammograms is a program that provides free mammograms to women who cannot afford them.
Tickets are $40 and are available for purchase beginning Monday, September 29th at 9am in person at The Akron Radio Center, 1795 West Market St. in Akron, OH
or mail by sending a self addressed envelope. They added that autographed items from tons of your favorite artist like Rascal Flatts guitar, George Strait guitar, Keith Urban guitar,and other items autographed by Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn,Dierks Bentley, Jessica Simpson, Montgomery Gentry and many more.
